Smith-Ludvik was secured to the pinnacle of the Burj Khalifa, and the shoot adhered to strict safety protocols. To capture the desired footage, an Emirates A380 aircraft flew around the Burj Khalifa 11 times at a speed of 145 knots, which is relatively slow for an A380.
