The office of the Zomi Students' Federation - General Headquarters (ZSF-GHQ) would like to thank all who cooperated in making today's Shutdown a success. The Shutdown had become necessary as it was a means to demonstrate our collective frustration at the recent fallout of the Govemment's 'Free Movement Initiative' which led to the death of one youth and injuries to over fifty civilians.
ZSF-GHQ thanks all Federal Units for their contribution in the Shutdown and for sending their representatives.
ZSF-GHQ would like to thank the authorities of schools and colleges for cooperating in the Shutdown. ZSF-GHQ would also like to thank owners of businesses and other establishments who forewent a day of business and observed the Shutdown. Furthermore, special thanks is extended to the general public who gauged the general sentiment and observed the Shutdown.
Lastly, ZSF-GHQ thanks all its Volunteers who have been working tirelessly for the Zomi cause and for all 'Zo' brethren in general.
ZSF-GHQ would also like to state that normal life will resume from 5:00 PM today evening i.e., 10-03-2025.
