The UTC Mizo Community organised a Farewell & Potluck Dinner on the night of March 23, 2025 (Sunday), following the college’s Valedictory Service. This special gathering was a heartfelt moment of honour and gratitude, as the community bid farewell and extended best wishes to the graduating Mizo students of United Theological College.
Here,
the Potluck Dinner symbolically represents “a pot full of blessings”. The
delicious Mizo cuisines were lovingly prepared by our beloved Mizo mothers from
the UTC family, making the occasion even more special.
What made this meal truly unique was not just the flavours, but the traditional Mizo cooking style that enriched each dish. The well-cooked rice, vegetable soups, and a variety of dishes reflected both homely warmth and cultural richness, leaving everyone with a taste of love and togetherness.
The graduating Mizo students include:
Doctoral Studies – Lalmuankima, R. Lalrinliana & M.G. Nehlien
MTh – Thangmoiya Doungel, Zoremsiama, H. Vanlalruata, F. Lalrammawia, Esther J. Vanlallianpuii & F. Ngursailova
BD – Bruce K. Thangkhal
Certificate in Christian Studies (CCS) – Rebecca Lalrinmawii & Nadine Khawllemhoi
“May all of you continue to shine in your calling, bringing glory to God. Wishing you abundant blessings, strength, and wisdom as you embark on your future ministry. May God guide your path and make you a blessing to many!” ~ from well-wishers.
I am truly grateful to the UTC Mizo Community for the fellowship, prayers, and unwavering support throughout my journey here. Your kindness, encouragement, and love have been a source of strength and blessing to me.
I am deeply indebted to you all, and words alone cannot fully express my heartfelt gratitude. May God richly bless each of you as you continue to be a light in the lives of others.
~
