Under the care of Rev. Fr. Vivian Richards (Parish Priest, St Jude Thaddeus Church, Bengaluru), around 70-80 children and students from my hometown, who are among the internally displaced persons (IDPs) from Manipur, are pursuing their studies here. We had a meaningful discussion about their future education and career prospects on Sunday, 16 March 2025. Fr. Vivian gave a positive assurance that each student would have the opportunity to continue their studies according to their aspirations. I also suggested exploring job-oriented skill courses to equip them with practical skills for better career opportunities.
