TERMS OF AGREEMENT ON THE CASE OF SEVERE INJURY INFLICTED UPON HMAR INPUI GENERAL SECRETARY, PU RICHARD LALTANPUIA HMAR ON THE NIGHT OF MARCH 16, 2025 BETWEEN THE FAMILIES OF PU RICHARD LALTANPUIA HMAR, GENERAL SECRETARY HMAR INPUI AND THE FAMILIES OF CULPRITS DATED ON THE 18th MARCH, 2025
1. The culprit family handover Rs. 50,000/- (Fifty Thousand) to the victims family in lieu of traditional and customary peace feast.
2. The culprit family will make an initial payment of Rs.200,000 (Rupees two lakhs) on this day of March 18, 2025 for medical treatment expenses of Pu Richard Laltanpuia Hmar and also pay any additional cost involved beyond the two lakh which will be intimated later to the culprit's families. In case of any serious case arises due to the brutal attack both parties should meet again to solve the matter.
3. Both the parties agreed that perpetration of violence against one another should not occur in the future.
We the undersigned, hereby appended our signatures below to show that we accept the terms of this agreement and pledge to fulfill our respective responsibilities.
