On 17.02.2025, security forces arrested one person namely Lamkhogin Dimngel of Kangchup Patjang, Kangpokpi district while checking at Sangai University located near Kaparang village, Churachandpur District and seized the following items from his possession viz.
i. Rs 34,20,000 /- (Rupees thirty four lakh twenty thousand) unaccounted cash
ii. Two soap cases containing suspected 24grams of brown sugar
iii. 3 (three) mobile phones
iv. one purse containing aadhaar card, pan card and voter Id
v. one 4 wheeler vehicle
vi. One live round of unknown calibre.
Further investigation follows.
