> Son of Pa Seikholet Haokip and Nu Hoikhotin Haokip of Zalenbung Village, Ukhrul District, Manipur
Cause of Death:
> Succumbed to illness
- A fervid volunteer- Mr. Lunkhohao, was a man who spared no effort to safeguard his people and land.
- He underwent and completed rigorous training as a Kuki-Zo Village Volunteer (KZVV). He stood unwaveringly in the periphery of enemy lines, fortifying the village with his prudent presence.
- His valiance was stamped by a pious passion for our homeland as he took part in victorious confrontations of bullets, which will reverberate in the minds of his comrades who saw him in combat.
- His story encapsulates how ordinary men become extraordinary through acts of courage which common mortals cannot fathom nor emulate.
- As grave a loss it is for our nation, may his bereaved family find solace in the Lord.
- His sacrifice as a martyr will remain etched in the history of our struggle.
