Rongmei Naga Students' Organization Manipur (RNSOM) Condemns Kidnapping and Brutal Assault of Railway Driver

RNSOM vehemently condemns the abduction and inhumane assault of Mr. Joshua Kamei, S/o Mr Kanjei Kamei of Kambiron (Puiluan) Village, Noney District, a 23-year-old railway driver, by Arambai Tengol (AT) extremists near Kheikhu Kabui khul Gate, Imphal East.*

On 5th of November 2024, 12:00 Pm,*

* *Arambai Tengol militants abducted Mr. Kamei, subjecting him to severe torture and interrogation at their camp.*

*This heinous act constitutes a grave human rights violation, threatening the dignity and safety of Naga people.*

*RNSOM Demands:*
1. Immediate cessation of violent activities by AT extremist
2. Swift investigation, prosecution, and justice for Mr. Kamei
3. Community unity against senseless violence and extortion

*RNSOM Warns:*
1. Authorities must address the surge in violence to prevent severe consequences

*RNSOM's Stand:*
1. Zero tolerance for violence
2. No compromise on justice.
