Where are the POST-MORTEM reports? Why weren’t they attached?
Don’t HIDE behind excuses like delays in results -- this is UNACCEPTABLE.

The Indigenous Tribal Leaders’ Forum (ITLF) firmly maintains that the bodies of our ten martyrs who were killed by the CRPF in Jiribam should be transported by road. In spite of ITLF decision, the central government stepped in and ordered the bodies to be brought by helicopter. Additionally, our people on the ground at Silchar Medical College made every effort to halt the helicopter transportation. The security forces even cause injury to certain people. Since we had no control over it, the government evacuated the ten martyrs by helicopter to Lamka this afternoon.
As a result, ITLF convenes an urgent meeting this afternoon to address the current issue and resolves the following:
1. The bodies of our martyrs cannot be claimed at the moment because no postmortem paperwork was brought with them. Our martyrs’ bodies will be placed in the district hospital morgue until postmortem reports are available.
2. An expert in this field will carefully review the postmortem documents for any inconsistencies as soon as they become available.
3. ITLF Legal Cell will take up all legal matters in this regard.
4. The Joint Philanthropic Organization (JPO) will collaborate with the Hmar Inpui to plan the burial program for our ten martyrs.
The matter regarding our 10 martyrs has received an enormous amount of support in and around Jiribam. We thank everyone for their support and continue to support our movement in days to come.
