The Mizo National Front (MNF) has expressed profound grief and condemnation following the tragic death of Mrs Zosangkim Hmar, a 31-year-old mother of three, in what it describes as a heinous crime by "Meitei miscreants" in Zairawn village, Jiribam District, on the night of November 7. According to the MNF's press release, the attack included an attack on the village and the assault and murder of Mrs. Zosangkim, wife of Mr. Ngurthansang Hmar. The press release cited that Zosangkimi was molested and burned alive by the perpetrators.
