A deceased body belonging to Kuki-Zo community was recovered last night (16 November 2024) in Sonapur/Aglapur, Jiribam, Manipur.
The victim has been
identified as 27-year-old Mr. Haojoel,
son of Seilam from Pangmol village, Jiribam.
His body was found
beneath a culvert in Aglapur.
Some social media reports suggest he was arrested in Assam before his body was discovered in Jiribam.
Relatives have claimed that he was abducted by some miscreants in Assam while visiting his pregnant wife at the Hmarkhawlien Relief Camp.
