V.Hrangao Blesson of Kodom khullen and Dalou of Liyai Khullen (both Poumai village) falls victim to the barbaric act of Meitei Arambai Tenggol Unit 18 at Lamshang around 2 am on 31st Oct.2024.
They were stopped by 4-5 personnel of AT unit 18 and asked to step down from their vehicle. Without any reason, they were beaten up and further taken to a designated camp. They were again beaten up even at the camp and forcefully asked to surrender all the money that was in their possession. After surrendering the money, amounting to Rs.30,000 thousands.
During the beating, they were even threatened with Loaded AKs and with Pistol. They even threaten them saying "If we shoot you both dead who will come to know and what can you even do".After all this they were released saying, Dont be mad and don't bear any grudges against us and a handshake was exchanged( victims were compelled to)
