A 36-year-old ZO woman from Chin State, Myanmar, identified as Pi Ni, tragically died in an accident in Thailand while on her way to Malaysia.
Due to the ongoing civil war in Myanmar, her husband, formerly a government teacher, joined the Civil Disobedience Movement and fled to Malaysia for his safety.
Pi Ni, along with her 2-year-old daughter, left Yangon and recently arrived in Thailand.
On October 7, while joyfully traveling through Thailand to reunite with her husband in Malaysia, she met a tragic end in a fatal accident, leaving behind her beloved daughter and grieving husband.
