Dedication of ZIN BUK in T. Khajang Village

On October 11, 2014, Rev. Thanglet, Area Pastor of Thangkhal Baptist Church (ABA), consecrated a new pastor's quarter called 'ZIN BUK'  in T. Khajang village. This significant event was attended by various dignitaries and church members.

Upa Kamzagen, Chairman of the Local Church Committee (LCC), expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the new quarter, which will greatly benefit pastors in their ministry of serving God.

The ceremony was graced by prominent leaders from TBC (ABA), including:

-- Upa Thangkhanmang, President

-- Pastor Genzatung, Director of the Woman & Child Department

-- Pastor T Chinminlian, Director of the Youth & Mission Department

-- Rev. K. Ginkhankap, Thangkhal Bible New Testament translator and ABA Missionary

--  Church members from T. Khajang TBC (ABA)

The dedication ceremony was moderated by Pastor Dr. Kammuanmung. The event marked a significant milestone in the church's history, and the new pastor's quarter is expected to serve as a blessing to the pastors and the community.

Road to 'Zin Buk' in T. Khajang village

It is noteworthy that T. Khajang holds a significant place in Thangkhal history as the first village where missionary and evangelist Thawngluan (b. 1902 - d. July 2, 1983) began preaching the Gospel. He arrived in this hamlet on March 7, 1939, and though he served for only nine years, he successfully planted the seeds of the Gospel in the land of the Thangkhals.

Khajang is the birthplace of the Gospel in Thangkhal Kual, the region inhabited by the Thangkhals.
