Blooming Flower Children's Foundation: Clarification

19 October 2024 --- I would like to clarify that as claimed by some police officials, the burning down of my school had no relationship at all with management issues as claimed by police authorities which was published in some newspapers.

Blooming Flower Children's Foundation School had been responsible for providing quality education to all communities in Jiribam, including the Meiteis, for the past many years. Unfortunately, I had to close down the school this year on account of the prevailing unrest in Jiribam and like all the rest of the people of my community, we had taken refuge in the adjoining states for our safety.

Since then, the school was occupied by the security forces as a duty centre and when there was lack of security personnel on duty in the school. I had categorically appealed to the security authority concerned to occupy the school again. Apart from entrusting the school to security forces, I had entrusted no one else and there is no question of management issues of any sort.

I had specifically stated that I had not entrusted the management to any one to the SP, Jiribam too.

I pray that truth will prevail.
