A man identified as Limlal Mate @ Lalboi Mate from Sharon Veng, Motbung (Kangpokpi district), was found beaten to death in Sekmai (a Meitei area) this morning.
Locals reported that he mistakenly drove his Scorpio car into Sekmai last night (Sunday night).
He was an ex-serviceman in the Army. Further details are awaited.
