(Text: John 2:1-11 NRSV)
been invited to the wedding.
“Do whatever he tells you.”
6 Now standing there were six stone water jars
for the Jewish rites of purification,
each holding twenty or thirty gallons.
“Now draw some out, and
take it to the chief steward.”
So they took it.
that had become wine, and
did not know where it came from
(though the servants who had drawn the water knew),

(Meaning: In Cana of Galilee, a wonderful marriage took place. The host invited relatives, friends, and others. Mary, Jesus, and his disciples gathered to celebrate. The festivities were in full swing, but the wine ran out. When Mary heard about this, she quickly called her son, Jesus, and informed him of the situation. After listening to his mother’s concern, Jesus performed his first miracle by filling stone jars with water and transforming it into wine. This remarkable sign in Cana marked the beginning of Jesus’ public ministry, showcasing his divine power and glory.)
[2] Enniyālō means “in moon light”. This is the term used by indigenous Telangana folk song writers for rhythm.
[3] Branch of Jasmine flowers.
[4] You are the God of gods.
[5] You are the Wonderful God.
[6] You are the Amazing God.
