Zomi Council & ZSF submits Memorandum to Manipur Governor

Synopsis:

The Zomi Council, Headquarters memorandum before the Governor press for a separate political administration while urging the Governor of Manipur to perform his Constitutional obligation under Article 371C. The Zomi Council wants the governor to make a formal report to be on record to the Union Government in regards to the ethnic divide between the Meitei community and the Zo ethnic community.

The ZSF GHQ memorandum highlighted the urgent need and intervention of the Governor of Manipur to address the plight of the Zo ethnic tribes in Manipur whose Human rights are being violated and their rights being trampled upon; where they could not have an access to an equality of opportunity in terms of education and employment as enshrined in the Constitution of India.
