Adviser to Mizoram Chief Minister and ZORO leader Pu Lalmuanpuia Punte and his entourage paid a courtesy visit to the office of ZC/ZCSC and had an open chat with some Zomi leaders in Lamka on Friday, 02 August 2024.
Current developmental issues and political matters were discussed.
The contribution of Central forces especially AR to protect the defenceless Zo people and Zoland was much appreciated during the exchange of views.
Scopes for promoting and cementing cooperation between the Zo tribal communities has also been discussed.
Zomi leaders conveyed optimism on the prospective role of CM Mizoram to mediate for solving the political crisis in Manipur.
