Lest we forget freedom fighters from North East states - Homage on Independence Day !

- 8 NE states too shed blood and sacrificed their life during freedom struggles ......
- Under the initiative of LEST WE FORGET, Helping Hands has initiated awareness campaigns for remembering north east freedom fighters for more exposure in syllabus of NCERT, CBSE, media, memorials etc.
- These NE martyrs wall of collage has been erected at Rashtrapati Bhavan during my tenure in President House, had even 'NE DAY OUT ' out for the first time along with erection of NE Martyrs Collage... thousands of NE citizens in Delhi NCR came and had nostalgic bonhomie inside Rashtrapati Bhavan.
- Our true patriotic homage to our freedom fighters lead by Bapu, Nehru, Patel, Subhas, Bhagat Singh ....Matmor Jamoh, Kanaklata, Bir Tikendrajit ....and others would be to become citizens having strong character of self discipline, God fearing moral character with high civic sense with an eternal echoing in everyone mind -
" what I can do for my country rather than asking what country can do for me ."
