* "KIM TOTAL SHUTDOWN ENDORSEMENT"

* No.127/04/WKZIC-GHQ/(PR)/2023-24: The Worl Kuki-Zo Intellectual Council (WKZIC)-GHQ: Songpi-Lamka, fully endorses the initiation of Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) calling for a 'Total Shutdown' on July 10, 2024 from 6.00 AM to 6.00 PM in all Kuki-Zo dominated areas in Manipur. This action is in response to the recent arbitrary arrests of two Kuki Village Volunteers and three additional volunteers at Jiribam area and L. Phaijol Village by combined Central and State armed forces on July 8 and 9, 2024, respectively.
* WKZIC commends and applauds the courageous decision taken by KIM and urges all Kuki-Zo people to adhere to the shutdown as a demonstration of our unity and firm stance against the unjust arrests of our Kuki Village Volunteers. These volunteers are dedicated to protecting their villages from neighboring Meitei militants and miscreants. We condemn the frequent and unwarranted arrests of these volunteers, who are committed to safeguarding their villages and families.
