The Mizo community at the United Theological College gathered for a heartwarming Potluck Dinner on 28 June 2024, a day filled with joy, fellowship, and blessings. The evening began with the melodious harmony of singing and heartfelt prayers, creating an atmosphere of unity and worship. The Word of God was shared, touching every heart and reminding all of God’s goodness and grace.
The programme was skillfully moderated by
Ebenezer Hmar, a second-year BD student and Secretary of the UTC Mizo
Fellowship.
As the programme concluded, the community came
together to enjoy a feast lovingly prepared in the traditional Mizo cooking
style -- a true labour of love. The aroma of the food, the laughter shared, and
the bonds strengthened made this evening truly special. It was a day of
gratitude, fellowship, and celebration of their heritage, leaving everyone with
memories to treasure and a renewed sense of God's abundant blessings over their
lives.
Potluck, in simple terms, can be seen as a “pot of blessings”, bringing joy
and good fortune to all who share in the feast and dine together with fellow
Mizos. Truly, it was a gathering overflowing with blessings for everyone present.
