Jiribam, 12 June 2024: From around 10pm, the joint operation of Police Commandos, Arambai Tengol, and UNLF continue targeting the indigenous Hmar-Kuki-Zomi community in Jiribam district, resulting in the burning of at least four shops owned by Lalengzam Hmar, Lalruotmawi Hmar, Zawlliensang Hmar, and Vanrokung Hmar at Karong and Kalinagar of Jiribam district.
