World Kuki-Zo Intellectual Council condemns attack on villages and killings

The World Kuki-Zo Intellectual Council, General Head Quarter vehemently condemned the attack of Chinglangmei Village under Samulamlan TD Block, Churachandpur District by the Meitei terrorists and State Security forces at late night of 1st July 2023. The heavily armed Meitei terrorists and State Armed Police Forces burned down at least 20 (twenty) houses of the Village, captured three Villagers; one of them was mercilessly killed and beheaded while the other two are still missing.

That, after burning the said Village those terrorists combined with state forces of N. Biren Singh and RK Leisemba Sanajaoba MP Rajya Sabha continue to attack the adjoining Village of Chinglangmei called Langja Village. While, stiff gun fight between the said terrorists and Village Guards is still continuing the Chief Minister of the State rushed to the spot to give all possible support to his forces, as he did in Khamenlok Area of Kangpokpi District.

That, this Council is awestruck to know as to why and how the Chief Minister who had harping for peace is siding to such terrorists who are committing the crime on humanity upon the citizens of India? Therefore, it is undeniably clear that the Chief Minister himself is heavily involved in this present Genocide pogrom upon the Kuki- Zo ethnic people in Manipur since the inception till today.

In view of the above facts and circumstances, this Council termed this state government as a killing machine of both the waring communities as such restoration of peace is a far cry, unless the Centre Government takes full charge over the state administration or impose president’s rule.
