With regard to the resolution of the Joint Meeting of U-Nau Students' Delhi held on 30th April, this Press Release is jointly issued by the sister students' organisation of Delhi (ZSP, KZP, ZSF, GSO, HSA, KSU & KSO), to showcase our complete solidarity and support towards ATSUM's call for "Tribal Solidarity March" under the banner "Come now let us reason together".
We are against the 'lawless laws and guises' of the state government of Manipur, their discriminatory policies towards the tribal population, and also the recent order of Manipur High Court's recommendation for inclusion of Meetei/Meitei into the ST list.
We urge all relevant authorities at the Centre and State to take necessary actions with regards to the issues cited in the Press Release for the safeguard and protection of tribal rights and identities.
