The Hill Areas Committee, Manipur Legislative Assembly, in its meeting held on 16 February, 2023, unanimously adopted the resolution.
RESOLUTION NO. 54/2023-(HAC)
TheCommittee fully endorsed the Government's" Wa r on Drugs" Mission andappeal to all Chiefs, Khunbus, Headmen, Khullakas, Landowners, Civil Societies, Church Associations/Unions etc; in Hill Areas of Manipur to wholeheartedly support the Government's initiatives on "War on Drugs".
The Committee further appeal to all the concerned to immediately stop the cultivation and destroy poppy plantation and other illegal drugs to save the future generation of Manipur.
