Mortal remains of 11 Gorkha Jawans who lost their lives in Manipur landslide will arrive bagdogra airport at 10 am today.(2nd July)
Here are the schedule 》》 Wreath Laying Programme
1. First flight will land at Bagdogra tentatively by 9:30am bringing mortal remains of 1 JCO and 5 OR.
We will have the wreath laying for them first so that they can be desp further to their native places along with the NOK and relatives.
2. Second flight will arrive tentatively at 10:30am bringing mortal remains of remaining 5 OR.
3. CHT and Ambulance vehicle for tptn of mortal remains and NOKs catered for.
4. Total 11 colonels have been detailed out of which 09 will head for Darjeeling and one each for Sikkim and Jalpaiguri.
5. COL A 33 will be at site for necessary coord.
Details of mortal remains in flights will be clear tomorrow morning. Message received from HQ 33 Corps by Col Keshab Rai.
