Banker security guard shot dead, Rs 1.16 Cr looted

LAMKA, SEPT 04, 2020 --- In a broad daylight roberry, two unidentified men shot dead a banker today and looted Rs 1.16 crores.

According to sources, two bike-borned men shot at Mr Ranjan (37), a security guard (said to be of Cash Replanishing Agent) of Churachandpur Branch. The men robbed him and fled with the cash.

The incident occurred at around 10.30am near SBI ATM booth of Churachandpur Branch in Lamka town.

Sources said Ranjan was rushed to Ccpur district hospital, however,  he was referred to Imphal.

Ranjan succumbed to his injuries on the way. His body have been brought to his home in Zoveng, Lamka.

Churachandpur police started the investigation. No arrest have been made so far.
