The Zomi Students' Federation (ZSF) appreciates the district administration in its tireless efforts to nab those criminals who are implicated in the ugly gun firing incident at Tuithapi village on August 26, 2020. It is more laudable that the law enforcing authority has managed to secure in arresting two suspects who are involved in the incident. ZSF demands that all those involved in the gun firing incident be arrested and punished as per the law of the land.
ZSF further appeals the public to extend logistical support tot he district administration in its attempt to apprehend the remaining criminals responsible for gun firing at Tuithapi. It is also our entreaty to any armed group to desist from terrorising and harassing innocent civilians in future. Peace and security of our people should be accorded due primacy.
