NEW DELHI,  JUNE 20, 2020 --- North Eadt Burial Fund and Dead bodies carriage provision in Delhi :-

1 - Recently during lockdown period 12 cases of dead of  NE citizens and also 4  have died due to covid virus. Burials and cremations were harrowing time due to non availability of vehicle to carry the dead bodies and non availability of graveyard ( as the  Graveyard at 23 Sector, Dwarka, South Delhi, graveyard is full, as this graveyard was burying NE dead bodies on our request.)

2 - MHA, NE Division had alloted Fund in  2016 during my time as Nodal Officer for NE for expenditure of last rites of burial/ cremation of NE poor migrants/ employees  in private sector.

The remaining money is available with SPUNER, can apply with death certificate and identity proof and identity card of private companies.

3 - Helping Hands is assisting graveyard management committee of Dwarka for expansion of graveyard for burial including NE dead persons as many poor NE are buried here.

4 - We have tie up with United Sikh lead by Sardar Davindra Singh for carrying dead bodies by vehicle  free of cost from any part of Delhi either for cremation of covid death bodies at Punjabi Bagh Samsanghat Ghat under the Helping Hands volunteer from Punjab Sardar Kuldeep Chana mobile number -  9313773546,
free of cost for NE people on my recommendation. Latest cremation of  Sania Deori from Assam was also performed here yesterday.

5 - For burial, the graveyard at Burari has agreed to bury NE dead bodies, greatful to Incharge Graveyard - Richard for always ready to help and bury our NE death bodies, recently dead body of even Meghalaya youth buried here.

6 - Under the Helping Hands sombre scheme of  -

'AKHRI AHUTI'

Decent rituals of  burying / cremation as per the dead person religion of NE poor dead bodies in Delhi and other cities those whom sending back dead bodies are not possible.

7 - To me, nothing is more befitting tribute to the poor dead person far way from home state than to give decent burial/ cremation as per their religions rituals .
