Imphal, June 17, 2020 --- For the first time in the history of Manipur, a 12-year-old boy secured 72% in HSLC Exam result declared today.
Isaac Paulallungmuan Vaiphei (12) s/o Genkholian Vaiphei of Kangvai, Churachandpur district has became the youngest person to cleared HSLC Exam at the age of 12. He appeared HSLC Exam from Mount Olive School, Kangvai Bazar.
He scripted a new history in HSLC Exam by securing the following marks: MIL (Vaiphei) 91, English 86, Mathematics 73, Science 53, Social Sciences 61, and HSc 68.
Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh felicitated this young lad Isaac in the presence of DGP L.M. Khaute and the boy's parents at CM's Secretariat on 17 June 2020.
Isaac and his parents also presented traditional gifts to the Chief Minister.
Following a special permission from the government, Isaac appeared for HSLC Exam, 2020 conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur.
