LOCKDOWN 4:0 & NES COMMUNITY
BENGALURU, MAY 17, 2020 --- Today marked the 52-nd day of Ration distribution by the Northeast Solidarity (NES) for Stranded Northeast people in Bangalore city that includes 48,000 Kgs of Rice, Cooking Oil, Dal, Sugar, Salt and bundles of Vegetables viz Tomato, Potato, Garlic, Onion, Ginger, Carrot , Eggplant, Cabbage, Bottle Guard etc. Also a Distress Kit for Male and Female including Soap, Hair oil, and dental kit etc.
Many and special thanks to our Donors, Gubachi Community Leanings, Sunbird Trust, our Nodal Officer Mr Jyothi IPS, Individual donors and Volunteers, who are the pillars of our fight during the Pandemic.
Also many thanks to Gov't of Karnataka for their support in arranging Special Train for our Northeast people during this time as per below updates:-
On 10th May : 1st Train carrying thousand plus stranded people of Tripura left for home state .
On 14th May : 2nd Train carrying stranded people from Manipur left for home state.
On 15th May : 3rd Train carrying second batches of people from Tripura left for home state .
On 18th May : The 4th & 5th Train carrying Northeast people from Assam & Meghalaya are schedule.
We are looking forward more Special Train transporting stranded Northeast people to their respective homestates. Anything new will keep updated in Noorteast Soludarity Facebook Page, till then Stay Safe..!!
