Minor boy missing under mysterious circumstances

A VERY young boy was missing mysteriously in his village named Monglham under Singngat Police jurisdiction since 8 days ago searching, yet nothing comes up into positive.

Sources said the missing boy a 10-year-old Mangminlian S/o Mr. Paongam of T. Monglham Village, Singngat TD block, CCPur, was said to be lost/missing under mysterious circumstances circumstances on December 30, 2018.

"Today (07-2-'19) the 2AR (Assam Rifles)  Muallum post team lead by Major Rajiv came forward to help in search operations and also contributed  2 bags of Rice, 13Kgs of Sugar, 17 litres of tonnes milk,1Kg of tea leaves," said Ms Grace Zamnu, the area MDC/Muallum and a well-known female social worker, told this reporter.

"Searching continues today with surrounding villages lead by MT. Geltam village," said Zamnu, who is also the founder of AWCA (Action for Women & Child Advancement
) and a torch-bearer of Zomi Mother's Association (who fights for the orphans).

Since many days, volunteers from far-flung areas had frantic searches and a team of volunteers lead by the Thangkhal Youth Organisation had aslo done the same, but the missing boy was untraceable, Grace Zamnu lamented.

With so much pain and strugglings, she could not have a night to sleep, says, "On behalf of the villagers I thanked to the huminatarian soldiers of 2AR, Muallum Post and all those individuals and groups from various villages and organisations who have come forward in volunteering to help in search operations and support in prayers and other forms till date".

The search will continue to find and rescue the missing child, the lone woman MDC added.

She said to save the missing child is my duty, because the boy belongs to my family, not a political sense.

Grace Zamnu  stressed over the importance of the safety of children especially the girl-child, as well as the missing boy.

The search continues. May civil organisations sprang up, yet, nothing fruitful so far as concerned. It's a mysterious case.

Another said he used to be lost while he was in his tender age. But some body used to send him (delivered) to home. It sounds miraculous! But none can't say anything about this. This type of case is predominantly found/heard in hinterlands of Zohills, an elder of 62-year-old said.

Many believes child trafficking. The reason is many village-women are ignorant about human trafficking.

The lone-woman Grace Zamnu sends out requests to strive for paying ways to find the innocent-loosing child. "Hope, we get back the child safely," she wished prayerfully.
