MANIPUR, JULY 29, 2015 –
It was an amazing zeal which sparked off in the minds of the young. The
incessant rains and floods have caused devastating affects on the low-laying
villages in Lamka town, CCpur, Manipur in the past week past.
An
executive member of North East Support Centre & Helpline (NESCH) Delhi and
a social worker Mr Khamlianlal @ Khams Zotal, Miss Lynda Zou of Bahrain, and Mr
Anthony Khai of USA have donated money and bought rice which was freely
distributed among the flood affected villages in Manipur, especially the
neglected Zou villagers. The trio led by Mr Zotal carried the rice and hand it
over the village chiefs on July 27.
During
the floods, the young social worker Mr Khams Zotal played a vital role in
rendering a social service to the community.
He sought ‘help’ from every possible angle. His prayers didn’t go in
vain.
Two
Zou youths namely Mr Anthony Khai of USA and Miss Lynda Zou of Bahrain –
donated 15 bags of rice and 5 bags of rice respectively.
The
rice has been distributed in flood affected villages likes Zoumunuam 10 bags,
New Zoveng 5 bags, and Ngulzen 5 bags.

Around
89 Zou villages have been severely affected while many other villages has face
similar situation.
Mr
Khams Zotal, alone, engaged in community service since the outbreak of floods
on July 22.
