Zomi Idol India 2015 Level-2 Competition Takes Place in Zoveng

LAMKA, 31 JAN 2015: The highly anticipated Level-1 Competition of Zomi Idol India 2015 was held today at the Zogal Memorial Hall in Zoveng. Thirty talented young singers vied for a spot in the Top 20. The panel of judges included Benny Khongsai, Stephen Mang, V Paukhansiam, and LL Muona.


The Top 10 contestants will advance to the Level-2 competition at Simte Inn in Simveng on February 7, 2015, where they will compete for the title of ‘Zomi Idol India 2015’ in the final round on February 14, 2015.

Among the Top 3 finalists, the winner and the first runner-up will represent Zomi India in the Global Zomi Idol Competition 2015, scheduled to be held in Tulsa, USA. The Global Zomi Idol offers prizes of $5,000, a citation, and a trophy for the winner, $3,000, a trophy, and a citation for the first runner-up, and $2,000, a trophy, and a citation for the second runner-up.
