Two BJP heads to visit CCpur

BJP Workers Conference to be held in Lamka

 

LAMKA, JAN 31, 2015:  BJP national general secretary Mr Ram Madhav has been scheduled to visit BJP office in Churachandpur district on February 6, 2015 in relations to the upcoming ADC elections in Manipur.

Churachandpur district BJP president Mr J Haokip on Saturday during the party meeting said that the national general secretary will discuss the preparations of BJP candidates for ADC elections.  Mr Ram Madhav would meet the party members and workers to discuss their status and condition.

The district president Mr J Haokip visited BJP office in New Delhi recently and discussed with Mr Jual Oram, Union Minister of Tribal Affairs.  The discussion focused on the poor condition of roads and lack of developments in the whole district of Churachandpur for the last many decades. “There is no development or improvement seen in the district and the state government led by the Congress has really neglected the people living in Churachandpur district”, said Mr J Haokip, who submitted a memorandum to the PMO office in New Delhi.

During the meeting Mr Ram Madhav was convinced and accepted to visit Churachandpur district to boost up the BJP members and workers.

Mr Haokip also met the Home Minister and shared the problems faced by the people of Churachandpur district. Mr Haokip also met Mr Faggan Singh Kulaste, MP (Lok Shaba) and national president of ST Morcha (BJP).  

Mr Haokip and Mr Kulaste deliberately discussed the problems faced by the tribals of Churachandpur district. “We the tribals are neglected by the state government. We haven’t seen any development in Churachandpur in the past decades,” Mr J Haokip conveyed.

Mr Kulaste accepted the request made by the district president during the recent meeting with CCpur district president in New Delhi. He assured to visit Churachandpur and would have a meeting with BJP members in BJP Office, Churachandpur to layout the roadmap for the upcoming ADC elections.

In the meanwhile Manipur State BJP president Mr Th Chaoba Singh has assured to attend the BJP Workers Conference in Lamka town, Churachandpur on February 14, 2015.  Hill leaders, BJP leaders and members will be attending the conference.  Mr Haokip said that the intending ADC candidates of BJP will be declared during the conference.
