New Delhi, 17 Dec 2014: On 16th September this year, a group of 60 youths from Nagaland wants to move out from one hostel (name undisclosed) of skill development institution in Noida (UP) due to repeated ill-treatment and verbal abused by the warden for the last three months. After the intervention of Naga Students’ Union, Delhi the matter was settled.
In a similar way, a group of 29 youths from Arunachal came to Noida for the same training programme which seems to be sponsored by the state government. Some students leader of Arunachal Students Union, Delhi alleged that the institution did not even provide students training completion certificate.
According to one students leader of Meghalaya, 42 young minor girls from Meghalaya were brought into Delhi recently for completely free job oriented and residential training in Nodia, seems to be sponsored by Govt of Meghalaya. The advertisement reads all the girls will be placed with a minimum salary of Rs 10,000 to Rs 12,000 per month after training; all candidates will get 100% jobs, and new batch starts from 1st week of December 2014.
