VK Singh, Minister of State for DoNER, inaugurated the North East Festival, 'Connecting People, Celebrating Life,' at the IGNCA grounds, Janpath, New Delhi, on 07 November 2014 (Friday). Kiren Rijiju, MoS (Home), and North East icon Mary Kom also participated in the lamp-lighting ceremony.
