New Delhi, Nov 16, 2014: In a gruesome incident, a newly married Assamese woman residing in Tikri Mundka in Delhi has been allegedly sexually assaulted, police said.
The woman belonging to Assam and her husband were assaulted by four men on November 9.One of the acussed named Shahjahan sexually assaulted the women by inserting a bamboo stick in her private part. Police source said all the accused has been arrested.
The woman was taken to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, and 164 CRPC statement done on Saturday.
Sources also said the condition of the woman is said to be improving.
The accused were arrested under sections 376-D (Intercouse), 323 (Voluntarily caushing hurt), 341 (Wrongful restraint) /506 (Criminal intimidation) and 34 (Common intention) of Indian Penal Code.
