“Mizoram is a beautiful place in the Northeast,” remarked Dr. V.K. Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for the Development of the North East Region, while responding to a query from The Mizoram Post. The question addressed the resignation of four Governors within a month, with concerns raised about whether Mizoram was being treated as a “dumping ground for BJP.” In his response, the minister stated, “Those [governors] have taken decisions on their own.”
