Gangtok, August 4, 2014: Shri A.K. Ghatani, Minister for Information and Public Relations (IPR) Department, and Health Care, Human Services & Family Welfare Department, Government of Sikkim, paid a visit to the IPR Department in Tadong today. Upon his arrival, he was warmly welcomed by Secretary Smt. C.C. Wangdi and other officials.
During his visit, the Minister toured all sections of the department, engaging with sectional heads and gaining a first-hand understanding of their work processes. In a brief meeting with the department's officers, he reviewed the department's activities and functions.
Minister Ghatani emphasized the importance of aligning the department's efforts with the government's programs, policies, and vision. He urged the officers to work in a coordinated manner to ensure effective dissemination of the government's vision at the grassroots level.
Secretary Smt. C.C. Wangdi provided the Minister with an overview of the department's ongoing initiatives and activities.
