New Delhi, July 17, 2014: The new Governor of Nagaland, Padmanabha Balakrishna Acharya was felicitated today at Delhi BJP office. Friends and well wishers from different parts of the National Capital City attended the function.

Acharya who was also given the additional responsibility as the Governor Tripura, is a veteran in the RSS, BJP and ABVP cadres. Earlier he was the BJP National Secretary for the North East Regions and is the first person from a GSB community to achieve the coveted post.
Acharya served as BJP National Secretary during the period 1995-2000 when the present Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the BJP National General Secretary for North East Regions.
