"Delhi Police for North East Folks" Facebook Page Launched

A new Facebook page, Delhi Police for North East Folks, has been launched to connect with the Northeast community in Delhi, providing a platform for suggestions and ideas to improve security measures across the city.

If you are facing any problems, witnessing someone in distress, or feel that your legal rights are not being respected, or if you believe something can be done to help our people or prevent a crime, please reach out to us. We assure you that your identity will remain confidential.

We encourage all Northeast residents to log into the page. The city police, through the Nodal Officer, will be available for daily interactions.

The page will feature:

  • Key legal information including City Police Standing Orders for the Northeast, employee safety regulations for BPOs, malls, industries, factories, labor laws, sexual harassment at the workplace, and anti-cyberstalking laws.
  • Procedures for obtaining essential documents like ration cards, Aadhaar cards, voter IDs, passports, driving licenses, NOCs for employment, college admissions, and property purchases in Delhi.
  • Updates on crimes committed against Northeast individuals in Delhi, case statistics, pending trials, and crime analysis.
  • Job advertisements, entrance exam notifications for prestigious courses, cultural and literary events involving the Northeast community, and schemes from the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DONER).
  • Noteworthy achievements by Northeast residents in Delhi.

Additionally, the page will provide emergency contact information for various services (blood banks, animal care, water, electricity, buses, ISBT, trains, flights/airports), along with details for night-time emergencies, DCP for the entire city, and ACSP for each of the 11 districts.

"Please share this important information with your friends, family, and relatives via your social media channels," urged Mr. Robin Hibu, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Police and Nodal Officer for Northeast Affairs, Delhi Police.
