New Delhi: A day after two Manipuri boys landed up in
hospital after being attacked, another youngster from the Northeastern state
has been attacked in the national capital on Tuesday morning.
In an apparent robbery attempt, the victim, a 24-year-old
man, was stabbed in the stomach by unknown men. The incident took place in
Delhi's Saket at around 4 am when he was returning from work.
He was rushed to a Saket hospital where he is condition is
reported to be critical.
Prima facie it appears to be a case of robbery as his mobile
phone was snatched by the assailants.
Delhi Police Commissioner has reached the spot and
investigation is on.
This comes a day after two Manipuri boys in their early 20s
were attacked in Delhi's Ambedkar Nagar area. As per the latest reports, one of
the victim is still in hospital undergoing treatment.
