“In the meanwhile, a small car came pretending to be innocent private cab and stop infront of me. There were 4 guys inside the cab apparently 30’s in age. They said they are going to Sector 12/22, Noida which is close to my office. So I enter into that cab. They were quite friendly and asking my name and where I am from. The cab moved towards Sarai Kale Khan claiming to avoid toll tax. A few minutes later, before Yamuna Bridge towards Mayur Vihar, the one sitting in the middle asked the driver to stop the car and get down, rearranging me to occupied the middle seat saying that he is going to take Gutka. The car moved on and while running on Yamuna Bridge, the one who is infront signaled his friends saying “chaalo” and they began covering the window glasses with sun film and backside with a big travel air bag. The one who sat infront along with the driver pulled out a pistol covering with white cloth and passed on to the one on my right side pointed the pistol on my forehead saying “Yeha se guli dal ke (with his hand on left side of my head), Yeha se nikal dega. Wallet nikal!” I shouted loudly for help but they covered up my mouth tightly and threatened me “awaz maad kar” (Don’t make noise). The one on my left pulled out my wallet and pass on to the front guy. I just have Rs.170 only along with 2 ATM cards. They started asking for the pin code of my ATM cards (SBI & Kotak). I kept silent for a while, they started slapping on my face for the pin codes. Finally, I revealed the code. They repeatedly asked for the code slapping me to ascertain it even though I continuously responded them. While one continues to point his gun at me, the other hold my body tightly and the front guy noted all the details. After they blindfolded me with a piece of cloth, they slow down the car to take a turn where I was thrown out somewhere near Gazipur area. It was around 6:35 am,” as narrated by the victim about the incident.
“Within 3 minutes they have withdrawn cash twice from my Kotak ATM Cards (as per attached withdrawal details)”, the victim told NESC & Helpline.
